Royal Mail has released the last recommended posting dates for Christmas 2023, providing ample opportunity for last-minute business mail and marketing campaigns to reach your customers front doors.
The good news is that it’s a big improvement from the previous year, which saw delays due to industrial disputes, resulting in a nearly week-long advancement of the deadline. The disruption significantly impacted the ‘peak season’ trade for numerous industry suppliers (phew, we’re glad that’s over!).
Here’s the key dates:
- Thursday, December 14th, for business customers using Royal Mail Bulk Economy, Business Mail (sorted) Economy, and Advertising Mail Economy.
- Monday, December 18th, for consumers in 2nd Class, 2nd Class Signed For, and Tracked 48. Additionally, this applies to 2nd-class business, advertising, and publishing mail.
- Wednesday, December 20th, for consumers in 1st Class, 1st Class Signed For, and Royal Mail Tracked 24. This also includes first-class business, advertising, and publishing mail.
- Thursday, December 21st, for Special Delivery Guaranteed.
- Friday, December 22, for Special Delivery guaranteed Saturday delivery with an additional fee.
- Saturday, December 23, for Special Delivery Guaranteed for delivery on Sunday, December 24th (not applicable to all geographic regions).
