The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team, reporting into our Director of Client Services. This is a relationship led, growth focused role. You’ll own a portfolio of clients, build strategic relationships and identify opportunities to grow accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities, including our direct mail platform, frankk. Administration is still an important part of the job, booking in jobs, processing SEPs and raising invoices for your accounts.

Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine growth mindset are essential, as you’ll be trusted to spot opportunities and shape long term account plans. Experience in our sector is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given. There is genuine opportunity to progress within the business as you build your knowledge and experience.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning a portfolio of clients, with accountability for account growth.
  • Building strong, strategic relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Identifying and developing cross-sell and upsell opportunities across our services, including our direct mail platform, frankk.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for your accounts, keeping clients and the Director of Client Services fully updated.
  • Coordinating closely with the Client Services, Data, Print and Operations teams to ensure client needs are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Booking in jobs, processing SEPs and raising invoices accurately and promptly for your accounts, ensuring everything matches job specifications and agreed pricing.
  • Bringing strategic thinking to your account plans, spotting growth opportunities before they become obvious.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal teams to keep information flowing smoothly and campaigns on track.
  • Developing your knowledge of your accounts, our sector and internal processes over time, with a clear route to progress.

Skills Required:

  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to spot growth opportunities and shape account plans.
  • Confident relationship builder, comfortable managing multiple client relationships at once.
  • A genuine growth mindset, proactively looking for ways to cross-sell and upsell across our services.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Comfortable with numbers, particularly around quotations, job costing and invoicing.
  • Experience in print, mail or fulfilment is desirable, but not essential, full training will be given.
  • Experience using CRM or MIS systems is a bonus, but not required.
