RightTrack™ solution
Ensuring your customer communications are on the RightTrack™, from data to delivery.
solution overview
These reports provide detailed information on how every mailing has performed through the Royal Mail network over a 5-day window.
why use RightTrack™?
Using the Royal Mail Mailmark technology enables customers to:
- Agility
Make better business decisions (for example, call centre staffing levels) due to the extra visibility of the mailing performance through the Royal Mail network. - Confidence
Predicted delivery provides you with more assurance of when your items will be received by your client/customer/target audience. - Efficiency
Reporting enables you to address any problems with poor address quality or incorrect data.
how the process works
When a mailing is posted, bakergoodchild uploads all of the pack data for the specified mailing into an online application (Gemma), which creates an e-manifest. The e-manifest information sits within a secondary solution called Dockethub, which directly interfaces with Royal Mail’s in-house technical solutions.
As mail packs are processed by Royal Mails sortation machines, the machine’s cameras capture the detail held within the Mailmark barcode and build a picture of how that mail item is performing through the network. From here, the data is pooled and linked with the e-manifest information to create the Mailmark Direct Data reports. These reports are updated daily, over a five working day period.
The main reporting tool we use in RightTrackTM is the Summary Reporting page, which provides an ‘at a glance’ overview of how the mailing is/has performed and this is split into four sections, which are:
seen/unseen
handover date
predicted delivery dates
errors
pack level reporting
You can then create a report in a variety of formats (Excel and CSV are the most commonly used), which provides details for every pack that has been reported by Royal Mail for the error in question. The client is then able to review this data and make any changes where required.
