Newly appointed Director at bakergoodchild

Finance Director and print, mail & post expert, Frank Barr ACMA, GCMA, MIoD, has been appointed as a new company director at bakergoodchild.

Frank Barr, whose previous roles included working in finance for various UK print companies such as Polestar Applied Solutions in Nottingham, Polestar Chantry in Wakefield and Southern Print in Dorset, will be sure to bring the Birmingham mailing service provider to the next level.

Frank Barr comments “Much of my experience has been around helping companies fulfil and indeed exceed on their expansion plans, within the distribution, aviation and electrical equipment sectors. However, I am most happy and comfortable within the print, post and mailing sector.”

Frank further added “bakergoodchild is pressing ahead with its plans and I am delighted to be a part of that journey. As bakergoodchild moves forward into the second half of 2019, it is looking to expand further into the UK market and revolutionise print and mailing services. In 2019, the Birmingham-based business has already invested in a Xerox Iridesse Production press, a host of Kern & Lake camera integrity systems for its mailing machines and two of the very latest MCS high speed ink-jetting systems. Further investments are planned this year as part of the company’s on-going commitment to continuous improvement in its production equipment and output capabilities.
